Genevieve Kaplan is the author of In the ice house (Red Hen Press), winner of the A Room of Her Own Foundation‘s poetry publication prize, and three chapbooks: In an aviary (Grey Book Press, 2016); travelogue (Dancing Girl, 2016); and settings for these scenes (Convulsive Editions, 2013), a chapbook of continual erasures. Genevieve earned her MFA in Poetry from the Iowa Writer’s Workshop and her PhD in Literature & Creative Writing from the University of Southern California. She edits the Toad Press International chapbook series, publishing contemporary translations of poetry and prose.
We follow CLMP guidelines. Entries are judged anonymously, so please exclude identifying information from the document. All entries will be considered for publication (non-winning poems have also been published), and all domestic entrants will get issue #21 (international entrants will receive PDFs of issues 20 & 21). Issue 21 will be excellent. We guarantee it.
